RP Gryffindor Common Room

Alice hit her on the arm dismissively, turning the potion over and over in her hands.

L: I'm sure you wont need it.

She winked.

A: What, cos I have charms enough?

She gestured down at herself, all cardigans and corduroy.

Lily smiled gently.

L: You are unique, Alice, and if a boy needs a potion to see it...

She shook her head, laughing again.

L: Besides, I like that cardigan.

A: Thanks, my uncle knitted it for me.

She smiled, picking at the hem.

A: Do you ever see Frank looking at me or anything?

Amy piped up.

A: You know, I did see him sneaking glances at dinner.

Lily smirked.

L: Alice, all he does is look at you.

She pursed her lips and curled into herself.

A: Shut up.

She mumbled.

L: You're lucky to have a boy so devoted to you.

Amy snorted.

A: Oh, cos you wouldn't know anything about that, would you, Lil?

Lily rolled her eyes.

L: This isn't about me.

Alice smirked.

A: How is Potter?

L: I'm not sure. He tried to kiss me again earlier but I dodged- I'm pretty sure Rosa hit him.

Amy winced.

A: Not Ringo!

A: Why did you dodge?! Lily, I'm not trying to be funny or anything, but James has been chasing you for ages - and James Potter is not normally a chaser, no pun intended. He's gorgeous, sweet, clever, handsome, head-over-heels in love with you, and did I mention how mouth-wateringly foxy he is?

Amy spluttered out a laugh, regretting that Remus or Sirius were both absent, that would have killed them.

Lily blushed deep crimson.

L: I'm just... I think...

A: No spark?

Lily cringed.

L: I don't know... I mean-

She was cut off by Sirius, who ran in panting, looking around.

A: What?

S: Not seen Remus, have you?

A: Remus? No, not for ages. He was heading out onto the grounds when I last saw him but that was ages ago.

Amy looked concerned, she started to stand.

A: Why, what happened? Should I-

S: No! Sit! It's... male things. You wouldn't get it.

Lily looked confused, but pulled Amy back down.

A: Okay...?

Alice frowned deeply.

A: Well, as I said, he was outside when I saw him about half an hour ago.

James suddenly barrelled in, crashing straight into Sirius' back.

J: Has anyone seen R- oh hey, Evans, how's it going?

His demeanor shifted in a fraction of a second, from panting and hunched to cool, mussing his hair up.

Amy opened her mouth then closed it.

L: Hello James.

She smiled slightly.

A: Is something wrong? Is Lupin okay?

S: It's fine! It's fine! Man stuff!

J: Yeah! His-

Oh no. He'd backed himself into a corner. He had to finish the sentence. Everyone was looking at him now - he felt a bead of sweat trickle down his forehead.

J: His... chest hair... is um... it needs combing...

Sirius flicked him discreetly.

S: Yep. SO.

He waved, grabbed James' arm and ran from the room.

Amy seemed very concerned.

Alice knitted her brows together.

A: I don't understand men.

Lily sighed, her face slightly pink.

L: Me either.

A: I thought I did.

A: You understand Remus - the others are a mystery to us all... speaking of which, I believe Miss Evans was telling us why she was unwilling to unravel the delicious puzzle that is James Potter.
