RP Gryffindor boys's dorm

R: Well, yes, yes it is a big deal! Because that was - it wasn't how I imagined it! It wasn't like, special, or anything!

Remus stood up, head down, hands in pockets, kicking his feet.

Amy rolled her eyes.

A: How did you imagine it then?

R: Like, slower, and romantic. I'm not criticising your kissing or anything but I always pictured it with my girlfriend under the stars or something cheesy like that.

He picked up his bag.

A: Save that for second kisses. Second kisses are the best.

She walked out of the dorm.

Remus growled. He wouldn't know. He followed.

Remus and James got up at a similar time, and dressed simply.

J: What took you so long to get back last night?

R: Hm? It wasn't that late.

J: Later than we got back.

R: The staircase started changing, so me and Amy got stuck for a bit. On the stairs. While they weren't connected to anything.

J: Hate it when that happens. Breakfast?

R: Breakfast.

Remus was glad he'd managed to worm his way out of that one. It was worth noting that Remus looked a little worse for wear. Not because of his late night, but the full moon was fast approaching. In fact, it was that Tuesday.

Despite her disgust at listening to James, she knocked.

R: Come in!

Called Remus politely.

Amy entered.

A: Hey.

Remus was sat cross-legged on his bed, and blushed when he saw her come in. For some reason, he started pushing his hair out of his eyes.

R: Oh, Amy, hi.

She approached his bed nervously.

A: Yeah, we need to talk, I think.

R: I was hoping we wouldn't have to.

She smiled ruefully.

A: So was I.

R: Do we have to? Once we've talked, everything changes.

A: Well, we can address.

She sat opposite him.

A: Are you alright with this?

R: I hate to say this, but what do you mean by 'this'?

A: Well, our friendship. It's still good?

She cocked her head, inquisitive.

R: Of course I do!

(assume that made sense at the time)

Amy let out a sigh of relief.

A: Cos I liked us... Platonic? You know? Like, I can hug you, but not...

Oh god she was ruining it already.

R: Amy, do you want to go back to how things were before we kissed?

A: Yeah!

That was cold.

A: I mean, no, but... I don't want this constant feeling that we're not friends anymore!

R: I'm always gonna be your friend, Amy. I mean, maybe there's something else there, but if you want to ignore it, get rid of it, I'll do that.

A: You'd do that?

She looked at him with wide eyes.

R: I would. Anything for you, Amy. I don't want to lose you from my life.

Amy shuffled up so she was next to him, and put her head in his shoulder. As she breathed in, she savoured his smell, so boyish and familiar.

A: Best friends?
