RP Grand Hall

Amy and Sirius sat across from each other on the Gryffindor table.

A: Toast?

S: Yes, please.

James grabbed it before they could.

J: Mine.

He shoved I in his mouth. Evangeline watched in disgust.

E: Have you heard of table manners?

M: Relatively. Had a nightmare. Due dates are closer than they appear.

She chuckled lightly to herself and grabbed a drink at random. It was tea. She made a face, then with a flick of her wand, it turned into pumpkin juice, her favorite.

E: Presumably homework, not babies.

M: Oh, no, didn't you hear? I'm pregnant now!

Millie giggled as she grabbed another danish.

M: Kidding, obviously. I wouldn't be surprised if she is, though.

She commented as Jasmine entered the hall. Millie's eyes followed Jasmine all the way to the Slytherin table before she forced her eyes back to her food.

Amy made some more toast for the disgruntled Sirius.

A: What's first?

Also as the Slytherin table was a certain other Mr Black.

E: Arithmancy!

M: Ew...

Millie looked up again, and decided to study Regulus since he wasn't looking at her. His hair looked positively adorable today...much like Sirius, actually,

A: Oh...

She looked crestfallen.

Regulus noticed nothing, or didn't seem to, anyway. Evangeline gasped lightly.

E: You don't like arithmancy?!

R: It would seem she does not.

M: The professor's kind of scary, you have to admit.

A: I don't take it.

Lily nodded.

L: She failed the exam.

R: Ah well.

E: She isn't scary perse... just... rather...

J: She's terrifying.

S: Hawk ish?

He are his toast.

M: She makes me want to pee my pants.

Millie muttered. She pushed her plate away and wrapped her hands around her warm cup, looking around.

J: Just keep your head down. Don't let it know you're afraid.

Evangeline pursed her lips, finished her muesli, and sat up straight on the bench.

M: 'It'?

Millie snorted a laugh.

M: Well, she does resemble a goblin.

E: Or a harpee.

M: Or both.

Her eyes were wandering towards Regulus again. Man, she had to stop doing that.

J: I'd rather screw Madame Pince.

Evangeline's nose wrinkled.

E: That's horrible.

M: Ew...yeah, no. I think they're on about the same level. I don't think she likes me too much, she scolded me twice when I was in the library the other day with-

She stopped short, suddenly tight lipped.

J: With who?

James frowned.

J: We were in the library but I didn't see her.

M: Uh, one of my friends came over after you left. And he was kind of...obnoxious.

J: Oh, yeah? I thought all your friends were mad at you?

M: Well, most of them, not all of them.

For a Hufflepuff, she was a pretty swift liar. The only thing that gave her away was her twirling her hair on her finger -- not that they would know the difference, considering none of them knew her very well.
