S: Not while I'm in that dorm, thank you.

J: He's good at soundproofing spells.

S: How do you know?

Sirius looked disgusted.

J: The bed rocks.

Sirius made a snorting laugh.

S: Now I don't believe you.

J: Stay up tonight and watch.

S: No!

Sirius threw the quill at James.

J: Usually every night Amy's hugged him.

S: He is such a bloody virgin. There is no way.

J: Never even kissed a girl.

Sirius laughed again.

S: Bless. I reckon Amy's sympathy kissed him by now though.

R: Quite possibly. Don't get why girls don't fancy him, really - he's a Marauder.

S: I'm sure all the girls get swoony around Moony.

J: Maybe Moony should moon, catch the attention of a few girls.

Sirius laughed.

S: Wouldn't be good attention!

He looked at the clock.

S: Dinner?

J: Dinner.

He jumped up.

He darted a glance at the stairs.

S: Should we...?

J: ...They'll come in their own time.

James smirked and winked, then jumped up.

Sirius rolled his eyes and climbed through the portrait hole.

James followed, still sniggering.

Amy sat on the loveseat in her checked flannel nightie, and got out the book Remus had bought her.

Remus was up in his dorm. James peaked around the doorframe.

J: Amy?

Amy looked up.

A: Hmm?

J: How come you're still up on a school night?

A: Not tired.

She turned the page.
