Evangeline nudged Millie as she saw the heart.

E: Spoken to Sean recently?

Millie flushed bright red and nodded, smiling.

M: This morning, when I went to go send a letter to my mum.

She bit her lip, like she was physically trying to restrain herself from squealing.

M: We talked for a while...

Her tone suggested more than talking had happened.

E: You talked? Oh, you talked to him, did you?

M: No, it wasn't like that! I mean- he was all touchy.

Millie was unable to contain her grin. It stayed plastered to her face as she continued to talk animatedly.

M: Like, he pretended to bump into me so he could touch my shoulder, but it was pretty obvious, and then he held my hand and asked me to hang out with him later this afternoon!

(STALKER REGULUS FOLLOWS THEM AND LISTENS IN)

(DONE)

E: Ooh, are you going to? Where?

M: He said the lake. And yes, I'm going! I'd be a fool not to. He's so handsome...

Not as handsome as Regulus, a petty voice in her head added.

E: Mm, he is. Must run in the family.

Evangeline glanced over at his older brother.

Millie followed her gaze.

M: Mm...their jaws are so...angular.

She found her gaze wandering past the Ravenclaws to the Slytherin table, and resting on a certain dark-haired boy.

Regulus caught her eye just before she could look away. He didn't smile, he didn't raise his brows, he just looked at her, then looked away, talking to Jasmine Zabini.

E: Mm... their bone structure defies belief...

Millie's brow furrowed at this. Was Regulus mad at her? Quickly, she ran through the events of the previous night -- flushing when she got to the bit where Regulus had touched her waist -- but couldn't come up with anything that would make him become irritated with her.

M: Whose does? Oh, them. Sorry, I just...tuned out.

Her eyes flicked back to Regulus before she ducked her head down.

E: Where are the others, do you think?

Evangeline asked, nibbling at her pain au chocolat.

(Well aren't we fancy?)

M: Probably tormenting Sirius. Thanks to you.

She cast Evangeline a sidelong glance. Even though she knew it was horrible what her friend had done, she couldn't help but smirk. It was funny.

Sirius sat down at the Gryffindor table.

Evangeline looked up as he sat down, smiling deviously.

E: Morning.

She was still smiling as she ate.

E: My neck's a little stiff this morning, I must say.

Millie giggled quietly, lowly.

M: You're going to get jumped by him someday, and not in the good sense.

She grabbed another pancake and drowned it in syrup to avoid looking at Sean, who was giving her goofy looks.

Sirius looked at his cereal. He could rise to it. Not yet.

E: You know, I don't think I've ever been up so early on a Sunday. Of course, some people tend towards being early risers.

Millie nearly choked on her pancake. She made some sort of tooting sound as she tried to contain her laughter.

E: Something wrong, Millie?

Evangeline asked, holding in her giggles.

M: Nope.

Her face was strained. She turned away and had to giggle silently into her hands, shoulders shaking. If it wasn't for her red face, she would've looked like she was crying.

Sirius clenched his spoon. Not yet.

E: Really? Looks like you're absolutely bursting to do something: maybe Sirius could help, he has a lot of experience in containing his eagerness.

She put her hand on Millie's back, her own smile gone. Giggling only undermined her teasing.

Millie, however, did not possess the restraint that Evangeline did. She put her forehead on the table, practically crying now.

M: It's not good to do that though, because one day he'll explode!

She shrieked with laughter.

Sirius' head snapped up.

S: You can't talk about eager! You kissed me!

Millie's laughter ceased. Slowly, she lifted her head.

M: Oh, don't make up lies, Sirius, we're only kidding.
